When preparing your submission for The Future of News Awards, please review the entry criteria carefully.

Include relevant facts and figures to substantiate the point you want to make about your brand's initiatives. A polished and concise presentation will leave a lasting impression on the jury.

Upon successful login via OTP, your entry account will be promptly created, granting you access to conveniently manage your submissions for the awards.

Please ensure that the contact details provided in your entry form are accurate and up-to-date, as they will be used for all communications during the awards process. Should any changes with regard to your contact information occur after form submission, notify to avoid disruption.

The entity name and address provided in the registration form will be utilised for all future correspondence relating to your entry. To ensure accurate representation, our coverage will feature your brand's name rather than that of the project or team.

Should any updates or modifications to the entity name and address be necessary, do let us know.


  • First, run through all the award categories carefully before choosing the ones you want to enter. Double check the fit between each entry and category.
  • Treat each entry like a story: why does it deserve an award? Take your time to create a compelling narrative that will stand out from the competition.
  • Jurors have dozens of entries to go through. Stick to the word limit - short & crisp fits the bill.
  • Many entries are unique in some way. Highlight them and draw the jury's attention.
  • Avoid management jargon & back your words with relevant facts instead.
  • Demonstrate impact. Include data to underline success.
  • Ensure the links you submit are accessible. (WeTransfer links will not be accepted)
  • Ensure that your submission aligns with the specific category you are entering.
  • Review and Revise before finalising your entry.

The Future of News Awards are open to news channels, business channels and online video from news sites.

Entries from freelancers and individuals will not be accepted.

A single piece of work can be entered in more than one category or sub category, if applicable.

Please ensure that the entries submitted to the afaqs!' The Future of News Awards should have been first appeared between September 01, 2022 and August 31, 2023.

Entries once submitted, cannot be withdrawn or edited.

The decision of the jury will be final and binding.

There will be no shortlist issued before the final awards ceremony.

We, at afaqs! Events, always strive to eliminate conflicts of interest in the judging process. Each entry will be reviewed by a jury of respected professionals from the advertising, marketing and media space.

The payment can be made online by credit/debit cards, net banking or via cheques.

Please make your Crossed Cheque or Bank Draft payable to 'Banyan Netfaqs Pvt Ltd' in INR only, and mail the same at Banyan Netfaqs Pvt Ltd, B-112, 4th Floor, Sector 64, Noida- 201301.

The jury will include senior agency executives and marketers.
The jury would be judging the entries basis only the submitted material.To get a gold, an entry should not only be the top scorer in its category but should also receive a score of at least 7 points from the Jury. Similarly, the minimum scores for silver and bronze are 6 and 5.
The jury will be advised to gauge entries on the basis of following parameters : Uniqueness of the idea, Quality of craft, Execution, Engagement, and for brand Integration the jury will additionally consider if the brand becomes one with the story.
